1 All permanent signs requiring a permit must submit a sign permit application with the following 2 information: 3 (1) Wall signs, including banners, blade/projecting signs, typeface on awnings and cano- 4 pies, and all business directory signs, area identification signs, and menu boards in- 5 stalled on walls. 6 a. The names, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers of the follow- 7 ing parties: 8 i. The applicant, 9 ii. The owner of the parcel on which the sign is to be erected or affixed, 10 iii. The owner of the sign, and 11 iv. The person to be erecting or affixing the sign. 12 b. Address and location of the property where the sign will be installed. 13 c. Type of sign (box cabinet, channel letter, etc.). 14 d. Dimensions of the sign. 15 e. Dimensions of the wall to which the sign will be attached. 16 f. Placement of the sign on the wall to which it will be attached. 17 g. Height of the sign. 18 h. Detailed schematics of the sign, including plans and specifications for the method 19 and materials of construction and attachment to the building. 20 i. Detailed specifications of sign illumination, including the source and type of illu- 21 mination, wattage, and any light shields and shades. 22 (2) Freestanding signs under 7 feet in height, including directional signs, freestanding menu 23 boards, and real estate and construction signs. 24 a. The names, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers of the follow- 25 ing parties: 26 i. The applicant, 27 ii. The owner of the parcel on which the sign is to be erected or affixed, 28 iii. The owner of the sign, and 29 iv. The person to be erecting or affixing the sign. 30 b. Address and location of the property where the sign will be installed. 31 c. Type of sign (pylon or monument). 32 d. Dimensions of the sign. 33 e. Height of the sign. 34 f. A scaled site plan showing the proposed sign location, existing signs located on 35 the subject property, nearby buildings and structures, public streets, rights-of- 36 way, public easements, and property lines. 37 g. Detailed schematics of the sign, including plans and specifications for the method 38 and materials of construction and attachment to the ground. 39 h. Detailed specifications of sign illumination, including the source and type of illu- 40 mination, wattage, and any light shields and shades. 41 Sec. 108-240 — Permitting requirements for permanent signs allowed with a building permit. 42 All permanent signs requiring a building permit must submit a sign permit application with the 43 following information: 44 (1) Freestanding signs equal to or over 7 feet in height.
