1 All permanent signs requiring a permit must submit a sign permit application with the following <br />2 information: <br />3 (1) Wall signs, including banners, blade/projecting signs, typeface on awnings and cano- <br />4 pies, and all business directory signs, area identification signs, and menu boards in- <br />5 stalled on walls. <br />6 a. The names, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers of the follow- <br />7 ing parties: <br />8 i. The applicant, <br />9 ii. The owner of the parcel on which the sign is to be erected or affixed, <br />10 iii. The owner of the sign, and <br />11 iv. The person to be erecting or affixing the sign. <br />12 b. Address and location of the property where the sign will be installed. <br />13 c. Type of sign (box cabinet, channel letter, etc.). <br />14 d. Dimensions of the sign. <br />15 e. Dimensions of the wall to which the sign will be attached. <br />16 f. Placement of the sign on the wall to which it will be attached. <br />17 g. Height of the sign. <br />18 h. Detailed schematics of the sign, including plans and specifications for the method <br />19 and materials of construction and attachment to the building. <br />20 i. Detailed specifications of sign illumination, including the source and type of illu- <br />21 mination, wattage, and any light shields and shades. <br />22 (2) Freestanding signs under 7 feet in height, including directional signs, freestanding menu <br />23 boards, and real estate and construction signs. <br />24 a. The names, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers of the follow- <br />25 ing parties: <br />26 i. The applicant, <br />27 ii. The owner of the parcel on which the sign is to be erected or affixed, <br />28 iii. The owner of the sign, and <br />29 iv. The person to be erecting or affixing the sign. <br />30 b. Address and location of the property where the sign will be installed. <br />31 c. Type of sign (pylon or monument). <br />32 d. Dimensions of the sign. <br />33 e. Height of the sign. <br />34 f. A scaled site plan showing the proposed sign location, existing signs located on <br />35 the subject property, nearby buildings and structures, public streets, rights-of- <br />36 way, public easements, and property lines. <br />37 g. Detailed schematics of the sign, including plans and specifications for the method <br />38 and materials of construction and attachment to the ground. <br />39 h. Detailed specifications of sign illumination, including the source and type of illu- <br />40 mination, wattage, and any light shields and shades. <br />41 Sec. 108-240 — Permitting requirements for permanent signs allowed with a building permit. <br />42 All permanent signs requiring a building permit must submit a sign permit application with the <br />43 following information: <br />44 (1) Freestanding signs equal to or over 7 feet in height. <br />Page 16 of 30 <br />
