We're Hiring! <br />Building Inspector/Plans Examiner <br />Salary: $38.26-$47.82 Hourly <br />Closing Date: Open Until Filed <br />The primary objectives of this position: to maintain <br />the integrity and safety of our community's infrastructure. <br />This division includes a Building Official, two Building <br />Inspectors/Plans Examiners, contracted inspectors, and <br />administrative support staff, fostering a collaborative and <br />professional work atmosphere. <br />Experience is preferred but not required, we welcome <br />candidates eager to learn and grow in this field. Starting pay <br />will be based on experience and qualifications. <br />The selected candidate will work closely with the Building <br />Official to ensure compliance with all applicable portions <br />of the Minnesota Building Code and City Code for both <br />new and existing residential, commercial and industrial <br />developments. This position offers an opportunity to <br />contribute meaningfully to the City's growth, safety and <br />quality of life. <br />This is a full-time forty (40) hours per week AFSCME <br />union position. <br />The 2025 salary range for this position is: <br />Step 1: $38.258 - Step 2: $40.170 - Step 3: $42.083 - <br />Step 4: $43.996 - Step 5: $45.909 - Step 6: $47.822 <br />Community Service Officer <br />Salary: $23.74 Hourly <br />Closing Date: May 4, 2025 <br />The primary objectives of this position: to perform a <br />variety of non -sworn law enforcement support duties for the <br />Ramsey Police Department. This position provides cost- <br />effective public safety and superior customer service while <br />performing regularly scheduled community service work. It <br />also assists with high priority unanticipated calls for service, <br />and with public protection and crime prevention. <br />Conditions of Employment: This internship is limited <br />to no more than five years, or one-year POST eligibility, <br />whichever comes first. <br />This is a 25-hour per week AFSCME union, uniformed, <br />non -sworn paid and benefit eligible internship. The position <br />is covered by Public Employees Retirement Association <br />(PERA) and ancillary benefits are available. The position <br />does not include health, dental and life insurance benefits. <br />This position offers pro -rated vacation, ESST/sick and <br />holiday pay, which begins on day one! <br />The 2025 Salary Range per hour is: <br />Step 1- $23.743 - Step 2 $24.930 - Step 3 $26.118 - <br />Step 4 $27.305 - Step 5 $28.492 - Step 6 $29.679. <br />Two (2) Police Officers <br />Salary: $37.786 - $48.443 Hourly <br />Closing Date: Open Until Filed <br />The primary objectives of this position: to maintain <br />order, keeping the peace and responding to citizen's needs <br />by discouraging crimes through high -visibility policing, <br />investigative capability and the subsequent reporting and <br />apprehension of suspected violators of the law. The position <br />reports to the Police Sergeant. <br />Successful applicants must have at least an associates <br />degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or equivalent <br />qualifications meeting the state of Minnesota's requirements <br />to become an Officer. <br />The 2025 salary range per hour for this position is: <br />$37.786 to $48.443. <br />The 2025 longevity range per hour for this position is: <br />After 5: $49.412 - After 8: $50.381 - After 12: $51.350 - <br />After 16: $52.318. <br />This is a full-time LELS Patrol union position. <br />Water Resources Technician <br />Salary: $36.18 - $39.80 Hourly <br />Closing Date: April 27, 2025 <br />The primary objectives of this position: to support <br />the effective management, protection and enhancement <br />of the City's water resources in accordance with federal, <br />state and local regulations. This position plays a key role in <br />administering the City's Municipal Separate Storm Sewer <br />System (MS4) program, Stormwater Pollution Prevention <br />Program (SWPPP) and Surface Water Management <br />Plan (SWMP), while also contributing to related water <br />resource initiatives. The role requires technical expertise, a <br />comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks, <br />strong analytical and communication skills and a <br />commitment to public engagement.
