Clerk-Treasurer Walker informed the Council that burning permits were available at the City office and that he is authorized to issue them. Clerk-Treasurer Walker will look into having the present Fire Wardens designated as Fir~~~ Marshalls with the same distric~ as before. f '* ..,. Selection of an Audit firm. Motion by Councilman Gorham, seconded by Councilman Mickelson to contract with the firm of Haskins and Sells to audit the city's books for the year ending December 31, 1975, at a sum not to exceed $2,400.00, including all out of pocket expenses. Carried 5 to 0 Health Insurance for Employees. Clerk-Treasurer Walker to contact the Al Wilkie Agency to firm up prices and present them to the Personnel Committee at their next meeting. Community School Director, Mary Hassett. Mary Hassettreported on the Ramsey Fun Day to be held on May 23. There will be a raffle for a side of beef and a bike. Tickets are being sold at the present time. The side of beef is being donated by Ron Jerich and the bicycle by Mayor Arnold Cox. Reports: Street Department. Administrative Assistant Walker reported that the Street Department is grading roads, repairing culverts, doing shop work and have taken off all snow removal equipment and stored it for the summer. Park Department. Administrative Assistant Walker read Park Coordinator Paquette's report. He has cleaned up park areas, painted and maintained park equipment, repaired damage from wind to the hockey rink and is working on City name signs. Building Committee. Plans for the municipal building were presented to the building committee by Cerney & Associates. A bonding program and cost analysis was presented to the committee by Larry Shaughnessy of Shaughnessey & Co. Consulting Engineers Diversified is preparing plans & specs for the completion of the streets in the Hall Dover Acres. The bonding company will be contacted and the City will complete the job under the performance bond. ('.~J ,i' I Mrs. Carol Felix requests a home occupancy, beauty salon, at 18031 Uranium. Clerk Walker to look at the location for parking and Councilman Reimann indicated that Mr. Walker should take a close look at the septic system and ascertain if it is adequate before granting the permit. A petition from citizens adjacent to Waco Street N.. and Xkimo Street N.W. connecting to 153rd Street to blacktop the two streets 'was presented. The City Engineer is to ascertain the cost and at -the next Council meeting the people will be informed of the cost (estimated) to complete the project. No action at this time on the petition. Kennel license request. Mr. and Mrs. Ed T~urston appeared before the Council for a kennel license. No action at this time. Th~y were referred to the Planning & Zoning Commission for their action. Request for mobile home occupancy. Mr. Terry L. Luke requested a permit to move a mobile home on his property while he is constructing his new home. Motion by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to authorize Clerk-Treasurer Walker to issue Terry L. Luke a temporary mobile home occupancy permit according to the City ordinance. Carried 5 to 0 A request for a sign on Highway 47 by Lakeview Furniture of Burns Township was referred to the Board of Adjustment. No action.
