The street to be constructed <br />with concrete curb and gutter also with the first layer of asphalt this year and <br />the final layer of asphalt to be laid in the 197'7 construction season. The <br />project to be funded by the 1976 and" 1977 MSA State Funds. No action. <br /> <br />Resolution on tree removal subsidy. <br />Motion by Oliphant, seconded by Gorham to adopt Resolution No.7 to subsidize <br />private property owners on the removal of diseased trees. <br />Carried 5 to 0 <br /> <br />Bruce Bacon, City Forester, discussed the subsidy program and stated that 1/3 <br />is to be paid by the State, 1/3 by the City, and 1/3 by the owners for the <br />removal of diseased trees.
