He brought a plan of the proposed building.
The two lots contain approximately three acres, slightly over that.
He is planning a grocery store, barber shop, beauty parlor and
possibly an off sale liquor store. The lots are about two to three
feet above the road grade. ~Jlamec. JD.Q.I.~ we approve th1s mini-
market shopping center on Variolite St. at 173rd Ave. N.W. Seconded
by Mr. Bodle. Motion carried unanimously.

Reilley Estates: Mr. Neary and Mr. Parta from the County were
present. Mr. Neary suggested a scenic easement for the whole sec-
tion of the Rum River within the confines of the City of Ramsey.
Mr. Neary said he had presented this preliminary plat to the Ramsey
Planning & Zoning Commission in August or September of 1973. At
that time the last planning autho. ,'ty was the County. It was then
presented to the County. It was approved by the County on May 2,
1974. He gave us a letter from Rollie Anderson of the County to
this effect. Mr. Fields had suggested that no final plat coming
through the County Board should do so before the drainage be such
that it would not go into the Rum River. Changes were then made
in the plat to acquie~ to this. The final plat was presented in
May of 1974 which was tabled because of a request by the engineer.
In October all the information requested was furnished to the en-
gineer.Final plat was submitted on March 10, 1975. Our engineer
delivered a letter on this plat shortly before the meeting this evening.
Mr. Neary described the drainage plan on the plat. There are 143
acres in this plat. They would put money in escrow until the park
land comes in when it would be a credit against that. The first
section to be platted will be the north third area. The scenic
easement is about 100 feet along the Rum River. Mr. Sorteberg said
the six items in the letter from the engineer have all been covered.
Mr. Gamec moved that we approve the Reilley Estate plat. The mo-
~10n a1ea lor lack of a second. Mr. Neary said this plat came in
under the basis of what he had basically submitted and this Plan-
ning and Zoning Commission should either approve or deny it. ~
Bodle moved we approve the Reilly Estates Plat and graciously ac-
cep~ ~ne Bcenic easement offerred by Mr. Neary as depicted on the
County plat. Seconded by Mr. Gamec. Motion carried unanimously.
The vote was strictly on the plat and it is just a statement that
we accepted the scenic easement, by agreement of the Planning and
Zoning Commission.
