1 Sec. 108-220 – Permitting requirements for temporary signs. <br />2 All temporary signs requiring a permit must submit a sign permit application with the following <br />3 information: <br />4 (1) The names, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers of the following par- <br />5 ties: <br />6 a. The applicant, <br />7 b. The owner of the parcel on which the sign is to be erected or affixed, <br />8 c. The owner of the sign, and <br />9 d. The person to be erecting or affixing the sign. <br />10 (2) Address of the property where the sign will be installed. <br />11 (3) Type of sign. <br />12 (4) Dimensions of the sign. <br />13 (5) Height of the sign. <br />14 (6) Duration of sign placement. <br />15 (7) A scaled site plan showing the proposed sign location, existing signs located on the sub- <br />16 ject property, nearby buildings and structures, public streets, rights-of-way, public ease- <br />17 ments, and property lines. <br />18 (8) Detailed schematics of the sign, including plans and specifications for the method of <br />19 construction and attachment to the ground. <br />20 Sec. 108-230 – Permitting requirements for permanent signs allowed with a permit. <br />21 All permanent signs requiring a permit must submit a sign permit application with the following <br />22 information: <br />23 (1) Wall signs, including banners, blade/projecting signs, typeface on awnings and cano- <br />24 pies, and all business directory signs, area identification signs, and menu boards in- <br />25 stalled on walls. <br />26 a. The names, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers of the follow- <br />27 ing parties: <br />28 i. The applicant, <br />29 ii. The owner of the parcel on which the sign is to be erected or affixed, <br />30 iii. The owner of the sign, and <br />31 iv. The person to be erecting or affixing the sign. <br />32 b. Address and location of the property where the sign will be installed. <br />33 c. Type of sign (box cabinet, channel letter, etc.). <br />34 d. Dimensions of the sign. <br />35 e. Dimensions of the wall to which the sign will be attached. <br />36 f. Placement of the sign on the wall to which it will be attached. <br />37 g. Height of the sign. <br />38 h. Detailed schematics of the sign, including plans and specifications for the method <br />39 and materials of construction and attachment to the building. <br />40 i. Detailed specifications of sign illumination, including the source and type of illu- <br />41 mination, wattage, and any light shields and shades. <br />42 (2) Freestanding signs under 7 feet in height, including directional signs, freestanding menu <br />43 boards, and real estate and construction signs. <br /> <br />Attachment A – Ordinance #25-07 <br />Page 16 of 30 <br /> <br /> <br />
