<br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />1) Reschedule November 7, 2006 City Council Work Session <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman indicated the November 7, 2006 work seSSlOn needs to be <br />rescheduled or cancelled due to elections on November 7th. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Council was to cancel the November 7, 2006 work session. <br /> <br />2) Council Updates <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced the following: <br />· Transit Open House is scheduled for November 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at the new municipal <br />center. County and State officials will be present. There is a Northstar meeting <br />scheduled at the Municipal Center at 5:00 p.m. Councilmember Cook thanked Jim Deal <br />for joint hosting the open house event. <br />· Council work session scheduled for October 30,2006 at 6:30 p.m. at the new municipal <br />center. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig expressed concern with remarks he has been hearing about the municipal <br />parking ramp. He stated the residents should be aware that the parking ramp is 100% paid for, <br />and it is not through tax dollars. City Administrator Norman indicated the parking ramp is paid <br />for through a combination of grants and assessments from business around the ramp. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 8:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br />City Council / October 24, 2006 <br />Page 19 of20 <br />
