It is noted that there is a fair amount of tree screening on the <br />nearest property line to the proposed building. <br />Planning Commission met on November 2nd at 7pm and held a Public Hearing. There was one <br />neighbor present whose accessory building encroaches onto Mr. Hamborg's property. It was <br />determined that the encroachment cannot be resolved with the requested CUP and requires <br />separate action between the property owners. <br />Recommendation: <br />After substantial discussion, the Planning Commission recommended approval for the full <br />amount requested, 860 square feet. The recommendation was based on the opinion that a 860 <br />square foot overage is not unreasonable on a four plus acre parcel. In addition, the Commission <br />supports indoor storage of personal equipment and vehicles. <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #06 -11- adopting Findings of Fact # relating to request <br />for a conditional use permit to construct an accessory building which would cause an overage of <br />860 square feet at 15755 Traprock Street NW. <br />-and- <br />Motion to approve of Resolution #06 -11- to approve the conditional use permit request <br />based on the findings of fact to exceed allowable accessory structure space at 15755 Traprock <br />Street NW. <br />-or- <br />Motion to deny the conditional use permit, based on the Findings of Fact. <br />Review Checklist: <br />Assistant Community Development Director <br />Community Development Director <br />CC: 11/14/06 <br />• <br />
