Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #06-11 - <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO EXCEED THE MAXIMUM <br />ALLOWED SQUARE, FOOTAGE OF ACCESSORY STRUCTURES <br />WHEREAS, Bob Hamborg, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant," has properly <br />applied for a conditional use permit to construct an accessory building exceeding the amount of <br />allowed accessory building space on property legally described as follows: <br />Lot 3, Block 4, Traprock Commons, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />( "Subject Property") <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br />1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Ramsey City Code on November 2, 2006, and that said public hearing was properly <br />advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br />2. That the Applicant has submitted a site plan to construct a 1,400 square -foot accessory building <br />on the subject property. <br />3. That the subject property currently has 2,358 square feet of existing garage and accessory <br />building space. <br />4. That the Subject Property is zoned R -1 Central Rural Reserve and is not located inside the <br />urban service area. (MUSA). <br />5. That the proposed accessory building would cause an overage of 860 square feet of allowed <br />accessory building space. <br />6. That there are no driveways proposed to the existing accessory building nor the proposed <br />accessory building. <br />7. That the proposed use will not result in adverse effects on the public health, safety, an <br />welfare of the residents of the City. <br />8. That the proposed use will not adversely impact traffic in the area. <br />9. That the proposed use will not be unduly dangerous or otherwise detrimental to persons <br />residing or working in the vicinity of the use or to the public welfare. <br />-145- <br />
