Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #06-11 - <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMMENDED FACILITY USE AND RENTAL POLICY <br />AND INTERNAL GENERAL FACILITY USE POLICY <br />WHEREAS, The City of Ramsey currently has a Facility Use and Rental Policy; and <br />WHEREAS, the current Facility Use and Rental Policy does not reflect the spaces in the <br />Municipal Center located at 7550 Sunwood Drive NW; and <br />WHEREAS, five new meeting spaces are available for use to certain outside groups in <br />the Municipal Center at 7550 Sunwood Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, one meeting space at the former Municipal Center is no longer available for <br />rental to outside groups; and <br />WHEREAS, an internal General Facility Use Policy is needed that reflects the Municipal <br />Center building operation at 7550 Sunwood Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the internal General Facility Use Policy is applied to City of Ramsey staff, <br />Council, Commission, and Board Members; and <br />WHEREAS, adoption of these facility use policies will prevent damage and deterioration <br />of City of Ramsey municipal facilities. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA; as follows: <br />1) That the Facility Use and Rental policy outlining rental and general use guidelines for <br />outside organizations shall be part of the City of Ramsey administrative policies. <br />2) That the internal General Use Policy outlining general use rules for City of Ramsey <br />staff, commission, and board members shall be part of the City of Ramsey <br />administrative policies. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against: <br />and the following abstained: <br />• <br />
