Background <br />Mr. Dan Bray has been employed with the City of Ramsey since August 21, 1989 and is <br />currently employed as Senior Building Maintenance Worker. As Senior Building <br />Maintenance Worker, Mr. Bray has been performing supervisory duties as needed and <br />requested. With the recent hire of a "part - time Building Maintenance Worker, the <br />supervisory duties Senior Building Maintenance. Worker are fully functional and long <br />term. <br />The Assistant City Administrator is recommending that the Senior Building Maintenance <br />Worker position be reclassified to Building Maintenance Supervisor. With City Council <br />approval, Mr. Bray's 2006 pay rate will be $22.04 per hour. The pay increase ($1.63 per <br />hour) for the remainder of 2006 will be funded with general fund dollars that were <br />designated for other positions but were not used because the other positions were hired <br />later in the year than expected.
