-322— <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />CONSIDER RECLASSIFICATION OF SENIOR <br />BUILDING MAITENANCE WORKER POSITON <br />TO BUILDING MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Dan Bray has been employed with the City since August 21, <br />1989 and is currently employed as . Senior Building Maintenance Worker, and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bray has been performing supervisory duties and with the <br />recent hire of a part-time Building Maintenance Worker his supervisory duties are fully <br />functional and long term; and <br />WHEREAS, staff is recommending that the Senior Building Maintenance <br />Worker position be reclassified to Building Maintenance Supervisor effective November <br />14, 2006, and <br />WHEREAS, staff is recommending that the pay rate for the Building <br />Maintenance Supervisor be at $22.04 per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br />Reclassify the Senior Building Maintenance Worker position to Building Maintenance <br />Supervisor effective November 14, 2006. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 14 day of November, 2006. <br />C: \Documents and Settings \pmiller \Local Settings \Temporary Internet Files \OLK618\Reclass case 111406 Dan Bray.doc <br />
