Absent: Commissioners <br />Howell and Holm. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to grant <br />a variance if the house and the garage are straightened out and aligned <br />along the front yard setback with approximately a 27 foot encroachment on <br />the Rum River setback and if the proposed structure is consistent with <br />structures on adjacent properties; also, no walk-out on the river side will <br />be permitted. <br /> <br />Further discussion: The Board discussed the variance and the design of the <br />house and garage and the DNR comments and standards for development on the <br />Rum River. Chairman Zimmerman noted that the hardship is that the <br />applicant cannot meet both the Rum River and front yard setback <br />requirements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Shumway, <br />LaDue, and Hendriksen. Voting no: None. Absent: Commissioners Howell <br />and Holm. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />adjourn the regular Board of Adjustment meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
