Absent: <br />Commissioner Howell. <br /> <br />Mr. Dreher stated that this particular sign pertains to the shopping center <br />itself and not to the individual businesses; only two tenants will be <br />advertised on the shopping center at any given time; the second phase of <br />the shopping center will not require an additional sign; the center's wall <br />sign has consistent standards except that Domino's Pizza will be utilizing <br />their standard sign which must adhere to specs agreed upon with the city. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Holm to <br />approve Mr. Richard Dreher's request for a variance with the following term <br />added to the variance agreement: <br /> <br />#4. That the sign shall be consistent with the blueprints presented <br />to the Board of Adjustment on September 24,1987. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: <br />Commissioner Howell. <br /> <br />Case #4: Request For Variance From Section 170.076.24 Of The City Code <br />Re~ardin~ Setback From The Rum River; Case Of A.J. Parent <br />Comoany: <br /> <br />Mr. Parent stated that in August the Board approved this request for <br />variance with certain terms that he feels are unacceptable. Since that <br />time, he has also learned that setbacks of structures on adjoining <br />properties is a criteria for approval. Mr. Parent stated that the home <br />southeast of the subject property has a river setback of 113 feet and the <br />home to the northwest has a setback of 107 feet. Based on that new <br />information, he is requesting reconsideration of his request to construct a <br />home 107 feet from the river. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeding to review the proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to adopt <br />Findings of Fact 0182 relating to the request for a variance by A.J.
