<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PROCEEDIl\X;S OF CITY mUNcn. <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA mUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESarA <br /> <br />A Board of Adj ustment was conducted on Tuesday, August 13, 1985 at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Councilmanber Jean Schlueter, Chairperson <br />Mayor Gary Heitman <br />Councilmanber Arnie Cox <br />Councilmanber Al Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: City ACininistrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Reporter Angela Flint <br /> <br />Members Absent: COlnlcilrnember Gary Reimann <br /> <br />CALL '10 ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Schlueter called the Board of Adjustment to order at 7:50 p.m. <br /> <br />BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Request For Variance To COnstruct Accessory Building Larger filan <br />Permitted a,y City Code: Case Of Mr. Peter Nieder: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman noted that across the street fran Mr. Nieder there is a residence <br />with an oversized accessory building, as well as a snaller storage structure, <br />and the property CMner has a mobile hane, boat, car, etc., pirked in the <br />driveway and not stored in these buildings; what guarantee is there that Mr. <br />Nieder will be using this accessory building to keep his vehicles under cover. <br /> <br />Mr. Nieder stated that the p:lrty across the street CMns a construction company <br />and moved into the area about a year ago; he doesn't know what that neighbor is <br />using his accessory building for. Mr. Nieder stated that he first requested an <br />accessory building two years ago and was denied; in April, 1985 he received a <br />letter fran the City regarding the nunber of vehicles on his property and <br />siting it as a safety hazard; Mr. Schnelle researched previous records of his <br />application and the proceedings of it were not handled properly; based on this <br />it was determined that he reapply with the fee being waived. Mr. Nieder stated <br />that he wants to keep his property clean and he means it when he says he will <br />use the building to store his vehicles. <br /> <br />M:>tion I:!i Councilmanber Cox to adopt Findings of Fact 0118, amended to state a <br />building size of 30' x 34', for Mr. Peter Nieder's Board of Adjustment <br />variance.
