Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #25-156 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING SEWER CLEANING AND TELEVISING PROPOSALS FOR 2026 <br />PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM PROJECTS <br />WHEREAS, the streets within the Countryside Estates subdivision, Flintwood Hills 2nd and 3' <br />subdivisions, Riverside West subdivision, and Bunker Lake Boulevard (CR 116) between Jackal Street and <br />Armstrong Boulevard (CR 83) are proposed to be reconstructed in 2026; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-044, adopted February 25, 2025, <br />the City Engineer prepared request for proposals for sewer cleaning and televising for 2026 pavement <br />management projects; and <br />WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to four (4) firms for the purpose of obtaining <br />quotes for completed the proposed cleaning and televising services; and <br />WHEREAS, the two (2) cleaning and televising proposals received are tabulated below; and <br />Contractor <br />IP 26-01 <br />IP 26-04 <br />IP 26-05 <br />IP 26-06 <br />Nelson Sanitation and Rental, Inc. <br />$8,799.50 <br />$1,649.20 <br />$16,490.50 <br />$12,641.00 <br />Hydro- Vac, Inc. <br />$12,608.83 <br />$4,410.00 <br />$31,586.89 <br />$20,541.13 <br />WHEREAS, the quote of Nelson Sanitation and Rental, Inc. in the total amount of $39,580.20 for <br />the televising report of IP 26-01, IP 26-04, IP 26-05, and IP 26-06 for said services in accordance with the <br />prepared proposal is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Nelson Sanitation and Rental Inc. for said televising services for and on behalf of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />
