<br />CASE #5: <br /> <br />DISCUSSION REGARDING ACTION PLANS <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you recall, some time ago the City Administrator sent out Action Plans <br />that were based on the high priority needs identified at the goal setting <br />session with the Council and Commissions in March of this year. These needs <br />have been reviewed, and in some cases, combined with other needs. Action <br />plans for these high priority needs have been drafted. Due to time <br />considerations, these action plans must be reviewed and re-prioritized, if <br />necessary. Also, Commission memb ers mus t be as signed to ac t ion teams <br />working on the various needs. <br /> <br />For your information, enclosed is a memo from the City Administrator dated <br />July 21, 1986 with drafts of the action plans. Economic Development <br />Commission members need to be appointed to the Action Teams for the <br />following needs: <br /> <br />1) Improved communication between all levels of City government. <br />2) Improve Local Government Aid (LGA) base for the City of Ramsey. <br />3) Drainage outlets into the Mississippi and Rum Rivers. <br />4) Transportation improvements. <br />5) Improve the appearance of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Recommendations: <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Will be to assign Economic Development Commission members to the <br />appropriate Action Teams. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator -X- <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Director -X- <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br />.30 <br /> <br />4<J <br />
