Anoka-ChamplinFire Department <br /> <br />City Administrator Hartley updated the Commission on the meeting with the Anoka- <br />Champlin Fire Department regarding Ramsey joining and participating in the <br />department. Mr. Hartley stated that he felt that the City should want to <br />participate to provide higher quality and more reliable service to the City; <br />the City couldn't afford to do that on its own. Chairman Greenberg asked <br />whether the EDC should make a recommendation on this. <br /> <br />The Commission scheduled a special meeting for June 18. 1986 at 7 :30 a.m. to <br />discuss the landfill commission. the Star City program and to continue <br />discussion on the fire department proposal. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wagner and seconded by Chairman Greenberg to adjourn the <br />regular Economic Development Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairman Greenberg. Commissioners Vevea. Fults. <br />Hardin. Wagner. DeLuca. and Ippel. Voting no: None.
