<br />4) Regular City Council meeting minutes dated May 28, 1985. <br />. 5) Special City Council meeting minutes dated May 30, 1985. <br />CDMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />(';u:~e I;t.: Subconmittee Reports: <br /> <br />a) Legislative- <br /> <br />No report at this time. <br /> <br />b) EQ9nomiC and Finance - <br /> <br />Comnissioner Fults stated that the Econanic and Finance Subcommittee had no <br />formal report at this time but noted that the poor newsp:iper publicity Ramsey <br />has been getting makes it difficult to get businesses to locate in the City. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />c) Publicity- <br /> <br />Comnission reviewed latest EDC article subnitted for the July publication of <br />the Tri-City Newsletter. <br /> <br />Case I): Review Proposed Develo9Jlellt District And Tax Increment Financing <br />Plan: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that the proposal for the Tax Incranent Plan is to encompass <br />the River's Bend Plat, Flintwood II plat and Oxbow plat. <br /> <br />Commission discussed whether or not that area Bob Muller is proposing for <br />shopping center would also be included in the Tax Incranent Plan, Ms. Norris <br />did not know if Council had received that recomnendation. <br /> <br />Chairman Greenberg encouraged EOC members to attend the July 9 public hearing <br />on the Tax Incranent Plan. <br /> <br />Case 13: Discussion Regarding Local Develq};lnent CoIlJi?BllY: <br /> <br />Coomission consensus is that the Local Deve10pnent Company will meet at 7:30 <br />a.m. on Wednesday, June 26 to formulate a program to sell stock shares. <br /> <br />Motion by Comnissioner Fults and seconded by Coomissioner Hardin to direct Ms. <br />Norris to proceed to aCx;Iuire $200 fran the EDC budget to be used for Local <br />Deve10pnent Company letterhead and postage costs. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Greenberg, Conmissioners Wagner, Fults, <br />Miller, Muller, Vevea and Hardin. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />(';:u::e #4:.
