<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Commissioner Guy expressed concern that with sewer comes water and with <br />water comes wells and she is concerned that major wells in the area of the <br />landfill will lead to contamination problems. <br /> <br />Commissioner Cox pointed out that it is not the City's intention to go with <br />large wells. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Cox and seconded by CommissionerVevea that the <br />Economic Development Commission requests authorization from City Council <br />to order a feasibility study from the City Engineer regarding Urban Sewer <br />Service Area #1 and that EDC will make a recommendation regarding utilization <br />of CDBG funds for sewer trunk line after reviewing the City Engineer's report. <br />It is further requested that the City Engineer have this report ready for <br />EDC review at their regular meeting in June. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Greenberg, Commissioners Miller, Guy, <br />Hardin, Vevea and Cox. Voting No: None.
