Reoistration plates or <br /> <br /> <br />2 certificates may not be issued by the motor vehicle registrar <br /> <br />3 for the ownership or operation of a motor vehicle subject to the <br /> <br />4 transfer fee unless the fee is paid. The fee may not be charged. <br /> <br /> <br />5 on the transfer of: <br /> <br />6 (1) previously registered vehicles if the transfer is to <br /> <br />7 the same person; <br />a (2) vehicles subject to the conditions specified in section <br />9 297A.25, subdivision I, clause (j); or <br />10 (3) vehicles purchased in another state by a resident of <br />11 another state if more than 60 days have elapsed after the date <br />12 of purchase and the purchaser is transferring title to this <br />13 state and has become a resident of this state after the purchase. <br /> <br />14 Subd. 2. (DEPOSIT OF REVENUE.] Revenue collected shall be <br /> <br />15 credited to the general fund. <br />16 Subd. 3. [REPEALER.] This section is repealed on December <br /> <br />17 31, 1994. <br />18 Sec. 98. [115A.912] [WASTE TIRE COLLECTION.J <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />19 Subdivision 1. [PURPOSE.) Money appropriated to the agency <br /> <br /> <br />'20 for waste tire collection may be spent for elimination of health <br /> <br />21 and safety hazards of tire dumps and collection sites, tire d~~p <br /> <br />22 abatement, collection, and clean UP of waste tires. <br /> <br />23 Subd. 2. [PRIORITIES FOR SPENDING.) The agency shall apply <br />24 the following criteria to establish priorities: (1) tire dumps <br />25 or collection sites determined by the agency t9 contain more <br />26 than 1,000,000 tires; (2) abatement of fire hazard nuisances; <br />27 (3) abatement of nuisance in densely populated areas; and (4) <br />28 collection and clean up of waste tires including abatement of <br />29 tire dumps. <br />30 Subd. 3. [CONTRACTS WITH COUNTIES.) The agency may <br /> <br />31 contract with counties for the abatement of waste tire nuisances. <br /> <br />32 Sec. 99. [ll5A.914] [RULES; COUNTY PLANNING; ORDINANCES.) <br />33 Subdivision 1. [AGENCY RULES.] The agency shall adOPt <br /> <br />34 <br /> <br />rules for administration of waste tire collector and processor <br /> <br />35 <br />36 <br /> <br />permits, waste tire nuisance abatement, and waste tire <br />collection. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />73 <br />
