I talked with Elk River City Administrator Pat Klaers about <br />the Atlas proposal. Mr. Klaers stated that his staff was satisfied that <br />the proposed burn facility was technically sound and met the requirements <br />of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and would not produce dangerous <br />emissions. <br /> <br />The preliminary cash flow projections for the project show that the <br />proposed project will create sufficient increment for the City to be able <br />to participate in the project. <br /> <br />Reconunendation: <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Recommend approval/denial of the request by Atlas Incinerators, Inc. <br />for City participation in their proposed project. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />A~ini&r~or ~ <br />Attorney ~ <br />Engineer <br />COmmunity Developnent Director ~ <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br />z. <br />
