<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Case #5: Request For City Council Approval Of Advertising Funds: <br /> <br />Commissioner Hardin stated that the budget for Discover Ramsey is <br />$8,000; $6,000 in revenue have been gathered; need Council approval for <br />$2,000 for advertising purposes. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Ippel and seconded by Commissioner Kurak to request <br />that City Council approve a maximum expend1ture of $2,000 to be used in <br />advertising "Discover Ramsey". It is recommended that this expenditure be <br />derived from the $50,000 allocated by City Council in the 1987 budget for <br />economic development activities. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Greenberg, Comm1ssioners Ippel, <br />Hardin, Gorecki and Kurak. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners <br />Muller, Vevea, Wagner and Fults. <br /> <br />Case #3: Information Items: <br /> <br />The Commission noted intormation items contained in the agenda. <br /> <br />Case #4: Discussion Re~ardin~ Resolution Adopted By City Council To <br />Establish A Tax Increment Financini Policy: <br /> <br />Tabled until the next regular meeting. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hardin and seconded by Commissioner Kurak to adjourn <br />the regular meeting of the Econom1c Development Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
