<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Commissioner Ippel stated that he is willing to volunteer to coordinate the <br />industry visitation survey and the labor survey to be sure all <br />commissioners are conducting the survey in a similar manner and on a common <br />chord. <br /> <br />Chairman Greenberg suggested that discussion of the Star City Work Program <br />contained in today's agenda be continued to the next special EDC meeting, <br />at which time a coordination program can be established. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Ippel and seconded by Commissioner Wagner directing <br />that Ms. Curan be invited to the next special EDC meeting to meet the <br />Commissioners. At that special meeting, the Star City Work Program <br />Committee should have a cost estimate for Ms. Curan's services available <br />for review. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Greenberg, Commissioners Gorecki, <br />Ippel, Wagner, Kurak, Vevea, Hardin, Muller and Fults. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Discussion Re~ardini Tax Increment Financini Policy: <br /> <br />Commission consensus was to table this case until the next regular EDC <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Case #5: Response To Northern Mayor's Association For Potential Sites <br />For Metro Area Resort: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris referred to the letter from the Northern Mayor's Association <br />dated October 22, 1987 calling for potential sites for a Metro Area <br />facility that would combine the amenities of a resort with first-class <br />meeting space. <br /> <br />Commission consensus was that the Publicity Subcomittee and Commissioner <br />Fults should meet to determine feasible sites for a metro area resort in <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />Case #4: Information Items: <br /> <br />Commission noted information items contained in the agenda. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wagner and seconded by Commissioner Gorecki to <br />adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
