<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Commissioners Fults and Ippel. <br /> <br />Commissioner Gorecki reviewed the business retention surveys with the <br />Commission and noted that the surveys take between 1-2 hours to complete <br />and the Star City Work Program Committee is expecting each of the <br />commissioners to conduct these interviews. Commissioner Hardin asked <br />whether letters explaining the survey and introducing the commissioner <br />would be sent to Ramsey businesses prior to scheduling the interviews. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Gorecki and seconded by Commissioner Muller that the <br />commissioners begin conducting the business retention survey and that the <br />goal is that each commissioner to conduct one interview each week. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairman Greenberg, Commissioners Gorecki, <br />Hardin, Kurak, Muller, Vevea and Wagner. Voting no: None. Absent: <br />Commissioners Fults and Ippel. <br /> <br />Case #3: Discussion Reiardin~ MetroDolitan Resort ProDosal: <br /> <br />Commissioner Kurak noted that there were several possible sites for a metro <br />area resort facility in Ramsey - several properties along the Mississippi <br />River or property in Northfork. Commissioner Wagner commented that his <br />first choice would be property along the Mississippi River. The Commission <br />discussed whether the proposal should suggest land along the Mississippi <br />River versus Northfork property. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Muller and seconded by Commissioner Gorecki to <br />recommend to the City Council that Ramsey respond to the Northern Mayors' <br />Association's request for sites for a metro area resort facility and that the <br />City's response indicate the desirability of parcels along the Mississippi <br />River for such a facility. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairman Greenberg, Commissioners Hardin, <br />Wagner, Gorecki, Muller, Kurak and Vevea. Voting no: None. Absent: <br />Commissioners Fults and Ippel. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wagner and seconded by Commissioner Gorecki to <br />adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Greenberg, Commissioners Gorecki, <br />Wagner, Kurak, Vevea, Hardin, and Muller. Voting No: None.
