The turn out for such
an event is enormous at least, and the dedication
that the Lions Clubs in our area show is very strong.
From the Ramsey Lions Club, nearly 50% of our
entire membership attended the convention. There
are definitely more reasons for attending such an
event than for not attending.
1. Showing support for your club.
2. Lending support to the entire Lions organization.
3. Promoting and supporting an individual in our
club to go further in the National Lions Organiza-
tion, to better represent us and our area Lions
club.
4. Providing yourself and spouse with an enjoyable
weekend with fellow club members and Ramsey
neighbors.
5. Recognition of your part in one of this country's
largest provider for people in need, and it feels
good to be a part of it all! Thanks for attending.
Lion Chuck Parker

DICK TYLER FUND RAISER

The Ramsey Lions Club traveled to Forest Lake
Wednesday to attend the fund raiser for Dick Tyler
in his efforts to run for International Director. Eigh-
teen Ramsey Lions attended the dinner, listening to
several supporters of Dick Tyler and watching area
entertainers. Dick Tyler seems to have some strong
support from this area Lions Clubs.

DONATIONS!
