<br />LITTLE SCHOOL
<br />Children participate in a variety of fun learning experiences that promote physical and social
<br />development. Activities include arts and crafts, stories, drama, songs, and indoor and out-
<br />door games. There will be a planned theme each week. Children must be the age indicated
<br />by the first day of class.

<br />Basic gymnastic tumbling will be taught with emphasis on developing balance and coor-

<br />T -BALL
<br />T-Ball students will learn basic rules and be able to play some games. This is a low com-
<br />petitive activity designed to develop basic skills, team play, fielding, hitting, baseball com-
<br />mon sense, respect for coaches and other players. Our goal is for maximum participation
<br />for all children.

<br />BASEBALL - June 19 - July 27
<br />BASEBALL CUBS, TUFFIES AND ROCKETS
<br />This program meets three mornings per week for 6 weeks. The objective of the program
<br />is to increase each player's knowledge of an skill in the basic fundamentals while stress-
<br />ing the values of sportsmanship and teamwork within the context of limited competition.
<br />Players must provide their own gloves. Weekly games will start the second week of the
<br />program and are held on Friday mornings.

<br />ARCHERY ADVENTURE
<br />This is for boys and girls grades three and up. This activity will emphasize group and in-
<br />dividual instruction, tournaments and team competition. Bows and arrows will be provid-
<br />ed. The fee is $14 for three weeks. There will be one three-week session and the class
<br />will meet twice a week, except as notes. Students may bring their own equipment.

<br />1989 Superior Summer Program Summer Camp
<br />The Environmental Learning Center's summer program offers a new dimension of sum-
<br />mer youth programs combining the finest of traditional summer camp with experimental
<br />education for children 9-12. Anoka-Hennepin staff members will be chaperoning in addi-
<br />tion to the Environemntal Learning center staff.
<br />
<br />The program features:
<br />'Swimming, canoeing, rock climbing, voyageur history, bird banding, ojibwa study, forest
<br />and wildlife ecology, stream ecology, adventure ropes, and naturalist programs.

<br />Come join in a 2-week program which will involve basic acting techniques, improvisation,
<br />set-building and costuming. At the end of the 2 weeks, the students will present a short
<br />production, displaying what they've learned.
