RAMSEY YOUTH
ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION

It has come to our attention that there are many
Ramsey families that are not familiar with our
Association.
RYAA or the Ramsey Youth Athletic Association
is a program run by volunteer parents to provide
sports for Ramsey youths. The purpose of this
Association is:
A) To provide guidance and equipment for
youth, to allow them to gain a better
understanding of, improve their skills in, and
satisfy their desire to compete in the field of
competitive sports;
B) To assist governmental bodies and their
agents in planning, developing and main-
taining parks and recreational facilities to
serve in the development of youth sports;
C) To promote sportsmanship and health, com-
petitive attitudes in youth, regardless of sex,
race, religion, athletic ability, or financial
status, and by so doing, to promote improv-
ed social welfare through the character
development resulting from such efforts.
The next general meeting of RY AA will be held on
Sept. 27th, 7:30 p.m. at Ramsey City Hall. We en-
courage parents to attend and bring new ideas, opi-
nions and concerns to the Board of Directors. At this
time we would like to thank all the parents that at-
tended our last meeting. Their support is greatly ap-
preciated and will benefit the growth of RYAA.
The following will be on the agenda;
1) Consent Agenda
2) Park Committee Report
3) Game Fair summary
4) Concessions
5) Fall Sport (football & soccer)
6) Sport policies
Hope to see you all there!!!
