Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Howell, Holm, Shumway and Terry. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Commissioner Howell to direct <br />that Item #11 of the proposed findings of fact shall indicate that the <br />proposed use will not be unduly dangerous to persons residing in the area. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Howell, Holm, Shumway and Terry. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Commissioner Howell directing <br />that Item #12 of the proposed findings of fact indicate that the proposed <br />use will impair the use and enjoyment of surrounding properties. <br /> <br />Motion failed. Voting Yes: Commissioners Howell, Holm and Terry. Voting <br />No: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners LaDue, Hendriksen and Shumway. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell to delete Item #12 from the proposed findings <br />of fact. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Hendriksen stated that the Commission has <br />to remove emotionalism from testimony and determine whether the use will <br />unreasonably impair use and enjoyment of surrounding property. <br />Commissioner LaDue stated letters of opposition received indicate that use <br />and enjoyment of property has been impaired. <br /> <br />Commissioner Howell withdrew his motion to delete Item #12 from the <br />findings. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to add <br />Item #19 to the proposed findings of fact to have the 3 letters of <br />opposition received from Tom and Sandee Knudson of 17400 Baugh Street N.W., <br />Mark Welter of 17410 Baugh Street N.W. and Dennis and Dianne Berquist of <br />17500 Baugh Street N.W. a part of the findings by reference. <br /> <br />Amendment by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Shumway <br />to have the petition signed by 41 persons stating no opposition to a <br />maximum of 6 horses being on the subject property also a part of the <br />findings by reference. <br /> <br />Amendment carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners LaDue, <br />Hendriksen, Howell, Holm, Shumway and Terry. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Howell, Holm, $humway and Terry. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Shumway <br />directing that Item #12 of the proposed findings of fact indicate that the <br />proposed use will not unreasonably impair the use and enjoyment of <br />surrounding properties. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
