A Request
From Streets
Dept.

Please do not place trash
cans in the roadway; it makes
it very difficult to plow the
streets. The City will not be
responsible for damage to
trash cans that are in the
street right-of-way. On pick-up
days, please put the cans on
the boulevard or a reasonable
distance into. the driveway.
Thank you.
Sn~wplowing
Procedure

It is the pol icy of the City of
Ramsey to plow all City
streets when the snow depth
is two inches or more. Normal
starting time is 2:00 a.m. or
sooner if weather permits. It
takes from six to ten hours to
open all streets dep~nding
upon the snowfall amount,
wind conditions and obsta-
cles in the way such as cars
and garbage cans.
The City is divided into five
routes with each route being
assigned at least one major
thoroughfare which is opened
almost immediately.
