and is looking forward to the
excellent school district and
elbow room to raise a family.
Within the first six months
after moving to Ramsey,.
Councilman Reimann decid-
ed to get involved with City af-
fairs in order to be aware of
what was happening in the
community and to be a part of
development and redevelop-
ment.
While serving on Council,
Gary stated that he will con-
tinue to be involved in: the fire
protection issue; keeping
Ramsey green through tree
sales, etc.; keeping Ramsey
an affordable and desirable
place in which to raise a fami-
ly by bringing in businesses'
to stay that will create more
employment and tax base.
aware of the cost of govern-
ment and the fact that "the
more demands you put on
government, the more your ci-
ty's operati ng costs (paid for
with tax dollars) will
increase."
Councilman Reimann
hopes the future will bring to
Ramsey an orderly develop-
ment and a good tax base.
In his leisure time, Gary
says that he and Beverly enjoy ,
camping and "watching the
children grow."
by enforcing o'rdinances that
presently exist. Arnie states
that he is also going to con-
tinue to pursue the Rum River
Bridge Crossing. Mr. Cox
stated that he initiated steps
to encourage the County to
establish their overall
thoroughfare plan to give
Rar)lsey the opportunity to
prepare, prior to major
development, a corridor
which has now provided the
alignment for the future
bridge crossing from Ramsey
to just north of the Anoka
. Senior High School.
When asked what he does
in his leisure time, Arnie
remarked strongly. "What
leisure time?" Arnie did admit
to enjoying some hunting,
,fishing and family type ac-
atmosphere.
Arnie owns his own-
business in Ramsey,
Supreme Rental; Winnie is
employed at Twin Rivers Care
Center as a cook.
Councilman Cox stated
that he first became involved
in local government when he
served on Ramsey's Town
Arnie commented that dur-
