<br />
<br />The third Sunday of each
<br />month, Mercy offers New
<br />Brother/New Sister classes
<br />form 1 :30 - 3:00 p.m. to assist
<br />parents in preparing their
<br />existing children for the ar-
<br />rival of a new baby in the
<br />house.
<br />Children will learn about
<br />mother's anticipated hospital-
<br />ization and will watch a film
<br />on a baby's development prior
<br />
<br />to birth as seen through the
<br />eyes of a child,
<br />The class is recommended
<br />for children 3 to 11 years old
<br />and limited to 20 per class.
<br />There is a $5 charge per fami-
<br />ly and refreshments will be

<br />Since 1978, Mattison has
<br />been administrator/chief ex-
<br />ecutive officer of Hennepin
<br />County Medical Center, a
<br />485-bed teaching hospital
<br />in downtown Minneapolis, af-
<br />filiated with the University of
<br />Minnesota. .
