<br />Presenters: Dan Nadeau, Hassan Township Administrator; Gary Eitel, City of Rogers
<br />Administrator; Patrick Trudgeon, Community Development Director, and Sean Sullivan,
<br />Economic Development Coordinator with the City of Ramsey.

<br />Patrick Trudgeon and Sean Sullivan reviewed the economic development history and
<br />future projects within the City of Ramsey. Goals of the city include:
<br />. Cleaning up the Highway 10 corridor (access, outdated buildings, outside storage),
<br />. Creation and development of a Ramsey Town Center (greenfield, new urbanist,
<br />Northstar rail station),
<br />. Industrial redevelopment. Area near Highway 10 and Armstrong Blvd. will be
<br />redeveloped for big box commercial), atld
<br />· The need for a limited access four-lane highway between cities.
<br />
<br />Ramsey is currently 29 square miles with approximately 23,000 citizens. They expect to
<br />growto a population of 40,000- 50,000. They are governed by an Economic
<br />Development Authority that includes 2 members of the city council.
