corrected either by the purchase of an easement over this area or by providing a small amount of fill and <br />landscaping restoration to this parcel. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends the vacation of the parcel as requested by the applicant with the exception of Parcel A <br />on Figure 1. Staff further recommends that the City approach the owner of the property containing Parcel <br />B with the offer to either purchase an additional easement over Parcel B or to fill and restore this area to <br />an elevation higher than the 100 year flood elevation. <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance #06 -_ to vacate a portion of the drainage and utility easements at 14438 <br />Iodine Street NW, as legally described and presented, exclusive of Parcel A; and, <br />Direct staff to approach the owner of the Parcel B property with the offer to either purchase an additional <br />easement over Parcel B or to fill and restore this area to an elevation higher than the 100 year flood <br />elevation. <br />Review Checklist: <br />Asst.
