Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />CONSIDER RECLASSIFICATION OF THE ZONING/RECYCLING <br />COORDINATOR POSITION <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bruce Bacon, Environmental Specialist, is retiring from the City <br />of Ramsey after 29 years of service; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bacon's resignation is effective December 8, 2006; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has conducted a thorough analysis of the Environmental <br />Specialist and the Zoning/Recycling Coordinator positions and staff is recommending <br />that the Zoning/Recycling Coordinator position be reclassified to a create the proposed <br />Environmental Coordinator position. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br />1. Accept the resignation of Bruce Bacon, Environmental Specialist. <br />2. Reclassify the Zoning /Recycling Coordinator position to Environmental <br />Coordinator, effective December 9, 2006. <br />3.
