-Scenes from a Halloween Party- The last day of October found over 700 Ramsey residents taking part in Ramsey School's annual Halloween Celebration. The 1981 edition included lots of games, prizes, refreshments, movies, a hay ride, spook house and a family dance featuring the Sandy Lee Band. The annual event is sponsored by a Halloween Committee which, this year was made of Ramsey School Advisory Council Members. The Ramsey Lions build and ran the spook house which was again a popular stop for the kids. Many businesses in the Ramsey Area contributed cash and prizes to help defray the cost of putting on the event. The Hallqween Committee wishes to thank all contributors for their generosity; without which the event would not have been possible. A special note of thanks to Gene and Veronica Walters of Waltec Incorporated, 14310 Sunfish Lake Blvd. in Ramsey. Their generous help paid for the dance band and custodial services for the party. Elk River Community Education strives to serve Ramsey area residents With the hope of better serving the needs of Ramsey area residents living in the Elk River School District, a representative from the area has joined the Elk River Advisory Council.
