<br />AFTERNOON LEISURE TIME <br />ADVENTURE <br />June 19th thru August 3rd <br />Monday thru Thursday from 1 :30 to 3:30 p.m. <br />This summer, your Community School Program will be <br />providing a fun filled and creative afternoon each Monday thru <br />Thursday. Afternoon Playground offers the neighborhood kids a <br />chance to get together for supervised leisure time activities. A <br />number of field trips have been set up including the All New Zoo <br />in Apple Valley, Twins Games and other special events. A schedule of games will be made up <br />with other community school teams from Wilson, Lincoln, <br />Sorenson Park, Champlin and Dayton. There will be a small fee <br />for those who wish to buy a shirt. <br /> <br />TEEN OUTINGS <br />Grades 7 thru 12 <br /> <br />Minnesota Zoological Garden <br />DATE: Wednesday, June 28th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. <br />Be among the first to explore Minnesota's All New Zoo. From <br />Beluga Whales to Siberian Tigers, you'll enjoy this exciting day at <br />the zoo. Buses will leave from Champlin, Wilson Community <br />Schools and Fred Moore Junior High. <br />COST: $2.50 included bus ride and admission. You may bring a <br />bag lunch or buy lunch at the zoo. <br /> <br />Apple River <br />DATE: July 19th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. <br />Join us again this summer for the excitement of tubing down the <br />Apple River near Somerset Wisconsin. Tennis shoes are required. <br />Cut offs, swimsuits or jeans are permitted. Buses will leave from <br />Wilson and Champlin Community Schools and Fred Moore Junior <br />High School. <br />COST: $3.00 included bus ride and tube rental. Lessons <br />meet two times per week for a total of 6 lessons. <br />REGISTRATION: for sessions I, II and III are at Charles Horn Pool during <br />the dates and times listed. <br />COST: $4.50 <br />Toddlers must be accompanied in the water by an adult. We teach you the <br />do's and don'ts of early swimming to enable you to help your child <br />develop good swimming habits. <br /> <br />YOUTH LESSONS-Ages, at least 6 by September 1, 1978 <br />TIM E: Youth lessons will meet each weekday for % hour for a total of 15 <br />lessons. These lessons are scheduled between 9 am and 1:30 p.m. at Charles <br />Horn Pool.
