City Engineer/Public Works Director Westby reviewed the Staff report concerning the additional <br />funding for the water treatment plant change order extension. <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson, seconded by Councilmember Peters, to adopt Resolution #25- <br />175 approving the original Engineering Amendment No. 3 for Improvement Project #21-09, <br />Centralized Water Treatment Plant. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Olson, Peters, Buscher, and Specht. Voting No: <br />Mayor Heineman, Councilmembers Riley and Stewart. <br />7.03: Attorney -Client Privileged Discussion of Litigation: Murray v. City of Ramsey <br />(Conciliation Court Appeal) - Closed to the Public <br />City Administrator Hagen reviewed the Staff report in regard to the litigation of Murray versus the <br />City of Ramsey. He called to move to Closed Session. <br />Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to recess to Closed Session <br />at 7:13 p.m. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heineman, Councilmembers Riley, Olson, Buscher, Peters, <br />Specht, and Stewart. Voting No: None. <br />The meeting reconvened to Open Session at 7:42 p.m. <br />City Administrator Hagen shared that the Council passed by consensus Resolution #25-177, which <br />accepted and ratified the settlement terms in the matter of Karen Murray versus the City of Ramsey <br />Police Department. <br />8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />City Administrator Hagen announced upcoming meetings and events. He shared that Highway 10 <br />will be closed from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on July 23 to July 24 for construction. <br />Councilmember Peters shared that there is a park cleanup at Alpine Park at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow, <br />July 23. <br />Councilmember Buscher shared that the Police Department will be playing their hockey game <br />against the Anoka Police Department this Friday, July 25, at 5:30 p.m., and proceeds will be going <br />to Shop with a Cop. <br />Councilmember Specht shared that the Party in the Park will be held on Thursday, July 31, at the <br />Draw. <br />9.
