The following members are being forwarded for <br />reappointment: <br />Mr. John Freeburg to the EPB <br />Mr. Bob Sibilksi to the EPB <br />Mr. Michael Nixt to the Planning Commission <br />Ms. Jill J ohus to the Park and Recreation Commission <br />Mr. Tom LaMere to the Park and Recreation Commission <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Persol1l1el Committee in Case No.1 and adopt Resolution #06-10-324 <br />reappointing board and commission members. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Olson, Elvig, Jeffrey, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: <br /> <br />Consider Exercise of Option Regarding Outlots A and B, Ramsey Town <br />Center Fifth Addition <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman indicated as a part of the negotiations with Ramsey Town Center, <br />LLC, at the time of the February 2005 First Amendment to the Master Development Agreement, <br />the City entered into an Option Agreement for the purchase of what has now been platted as <br />Outlots A and B, Ramsey Town Center Fifth Addition. Mr. Norman advised in order to exercise <br />the Option the City needs to give notice to Ramsey Town Center, LLC of its intent to exercise <br />and that it is intending to use the property for one of the following permitted uses: <br /> <br />(i) public facilities including a community center <br />(ii) a performing arts center <br />(iii) a health club; and/or <br />(iv) a cinema <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman advised in addition, at the Closing of the Option, the City will need <br />to enter into restrictive covenants which obligate the property to the above permitted uses only. <br />The permitted use(s) will need to be opened for businesses within two years after the notice to <br /> <br />City Council / October 10, 2006 <br />Page 13 of 15 <br /> <br />P23 <br />
