Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #25-222 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE "PROPOSED" 2026 CITY OF RAMSEY GENERAL <br />FUND OPERATING BUDGET <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the "Proposed" annual budget of the City of Ramsey for the fiscal year beginning <br />January 1, 2026 is hereby adopted for the General Fund as follows: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />Revenues: <br />Property Taxes $18,209,749 <br />Licenses and Permits 992,850 <br />Intergovernmental Revenues 845,500 <br />Charges for Services 808,700 <br />Fines and Forfeitures 48,000 <br />Other Revenues - <br />Interest Earnings 75,000 <br />Miscellaneous 21,050 <br />Other Financing Sources 1,788,750 <br />Total Revenues 522.789.599 <br />Operating and Capital Expenditures: <br />General Government $ 5,766,318 <br />Public Safety 10,315,464 <br />Public Works 3,876,649 <br />Parks and Recreation 2,625,795 <br />Contingency 25,000 <br />Other Financing Uses 180,373 <br />Total Operating and Capital Expenditures 5 22.789.599 <br />2) That the Finance Director be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the <br />Anoka County Auditor's office on or before Tuesday, September 30, 2025. <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />
