The intent of the B-1 General cBusiness District is to provide a commercial areas for goods and services for the <br />surrounding neighborhoods and community on a smaller scale than the B-2 Highway Commercial District. <br /> <br />Subd.2. Permitted Uses. (Subject to general requirements and performance standards as specified by this Chapter.) <br />a. Enclosed retail activities without outdoor activities <br />b. Restaurants and cafes <br />c. Offices and banks <br />d. Personal and professional services <br />e. Funeral homes <br />g. Medical clinics <br />h. Laundromat, self-service washing and drying <br />i. Dry cleaning <br />j. Animal clinics and indoor small animal boarding facilities <br />j. Adult uses-accessory <br />k. Convenience grocery and/or food operations <br />1. Off-sale liquor <br />Subd. 3. Conditional Uses <br />a. Animal clinics and outside small animal boarding facilities _ <br />b. Commercial car washes (drive through, mechanical, self service) <br />c. Convenience gas (no vehicle service or repair) <br />d. Day care centers <br />e. On-sale liquor <br />f. Uses with drive through service <br /> <br />B-2 Highway Business District <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. Intent. The purpose of the B-2 Highway Business District is to provide for and limit the establishment of motor <br />vehicle oriented or dependent and convenience type, high intensity commercial and service activities characteristically located along <br />major traffic carriers. <br />Subd.2. Permitted Uses (Subject to Standards established in Subd. 4 and Performance Standards established in 99.10) <br /> <br />a. Restaurants, cafes, on and off-sale liquor. <br />b. Private clubs or lodges serving food and beverages. <br />c. Commercial recreational uses. <br />d. Governmental and public utility buildings and structures. <br />e. Motels, motor hotels and hotels provided that the lot area contains not less than 500 square feet oflot area per unit. <br />f. Motor vehicle, implement, and recreation equipment sales and service. <br />g. Adult uses-principal and adult uses-accessory. <br />h. Enclosed retail sales and rental activity. <br />1. Offices, banks, personal and professional services. <br />j. Drive-in and convenience, fast food establishments. <br />k. Commercial car washes (drive through and mechanical). <br />1. Gas station, truck stop, and motor vehicle repair. <br />m. Convenience grocery and/or food operations with convenience gas (no vehicle service or repair). <br />n. Day care services. <br />Subd. 3. Conditional Uses <br />a. Outdoor commercial recreation. <br /> <br />9.20.25 E-2 Employment District <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. Intent. The purpose of the E-2Employment District is to provide for the mix of typically large volumes or bulk <br />commercial goods and services, wholesale/warehouse activities and limited retail activities. <br />Subd. 2. Permitted Uses (Subject to general requirements and performance standards as specified by this Chapter.) <br />a. Adult Uses Principal and Accessory. <br />b. Building materials sales stores. <br />d. Governmental and public utility buildings and structures. <br />e. Indoor commercial recreation. <br />f. Manufacturing. <br />h. Office buildings and uses. <br />i. Radio and television offices and stations. <br />J. Transportation terminals. <br />k. Warehousing of non-explosive material or equipment. <br />1. Wholesale business. <br />m. Storage <br />
