<br />The Ramsey City Staff will assist in this process. This will include providing <br />background information, review draft materials, scheduling and assisting in the <br />presentation of ordinance revisions to the Planning Commission and City Council, and <br />soliciting community input. <br /> <br />Overall policy direction will be provided by the City Council. Ongoing review of the <br />ordinance amendment will be the responsibility of the City Council and the Planning <br />Commission. This will involve a minimum six (6) workshop meetings. <br /> <br />WORK PLAN <br /> <br />A. Residential Planning and Zoning Classifications <br />. Compare the current residential larid use classifications to those described in <br />the new comprehensive plan for the purpose of identifying necessary zoning <br />district changes and the establishment of new . districts for proper <br />implementation of the new plan. <br />. Review and recommend changes to the performance standards in residential <br />districts, including but not limited to lot size, lot coverage, density, setbacks, <br />individual unit sizes, accessory apartments, home occupations, etc. <br />. Draft ordinance amendments for public hearings. <br /> <br />B. Commercial & Industrial Zoning Classifications <br />. Compare the current commercial land use classifications to those described in <br />the new comprehensive plan for the purpose of identifying necessary zoning <br />district changes and the establishment of new districts for proper <br />implementation of the new plan. <br />· Review and recommend changes to the performance standards in commercial <br />districts. <br />· Review and recommend districts to evaluate the special provisions for mixed <br />uses and town centers. <br />. Draft ordinance amendments for public hearings. <br /> <br />C. Planned Unit Development Standards and Provisions <br />· Review the existing regulations for the purpose of identifying necessary <br />amendments to criteria, standards, incentives and procedures to implement the <br />expanded use ofPUD's as prescribed in the comprehensive plan. <br />. Draft ordinance amendments for public hearings. <br /> <br />D. Environmental Regulations <br />. Review the existing environmental regulations to identify necessary <br />amendments to conform to revised state regulations and programs associated <br />with Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, the Critical Area Act, MNRRA Program, <br />and Shoreland Management Act. <br /> <br />E.
