<br />With these amendments, the City is planning to accommodate future growth beyond the 2010 <br />staging areas, and has updated its comprehensive sanitary sewer and water system plans to <br />address local infrastructure needs. <br /> <br />Guidelines for MUSA Expansion & Density <br /> <br />The amendments meet the Council's Guidelines for Evaluating MUSA Expansion requests (Ramsey <br />also currently participates in the Council's plat monitoring program). The City's overall residential <br />density for development since 2000 is 3.8 units per net developable acre, greater than the required <br />three units per net developable acre. The City has no storm water inflow and infiltration (1&1) <br />problems that could impact the metropolitan wastewater system. <br /> <br />The City has fulfilled previous Council recommendations. The amendments are consistent with <br />2030 Development Framework forecasts. The City has a parks and open space system plan, <br />natural resource protection ordinances, and storm water management plans.
