'"" Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-03-084 A RESOLUTION IDENTIFYING FINDINGS, APPROVING A COMPRHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE A LAND USE DESIGNATION ON THE PROPOSED PLAT OF SWEET BAY RIDGE FROM R-l RURAL RESERVE TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, AND AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WHEREAS, on February 3, 2005, the City of Ramsey received an application from Oakwood Land Development (the "Property Owner") requesting an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to change the future land use designation from R -1 Rural Reserve to Low Density Residential for the following legally described property: That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota lying westerly ofthe following described line: Commencing at the northeast comer of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence North 89 degrees 17 minutes 47 seconds West, assumed bearing, along the north line of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, a distance of 1000.03 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence South 27 degrees 07 minutes 33 seconds East, a distance of 1490.98 feet to the south line of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter and there terminating. AND That part of the South 333.00 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota lying westerly ofthe following described line: Commencing at the southeast comer of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence North 89 degrees 17 minutes 47 seconds West, assumed bearing, along the south line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, a distance of 1000.03 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence North 27 degrees 07 minutes 33 seconds West, a distance of 376.55 feet to the north line of said South 333.00 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter and there terminating. AND The Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota.
