Area Identification Signs. Consists only of individual, outlined alphabetic, numeric and/or <br />symbolic characters without background except that provided by the <br />building surface to which t.he sign is to be a:ffix,ed;and <br /> <br />2.. illumination, if any, is achieved through shielded illumination, <br />shielded silhouette lighting, or shielded spot lighting but not any <br />lighting where the light source is visible or exposed on the face or <br />sides of the characters. <br /> <br />. b. Gr.ound Sign. There shall not be more than one (1) ground sign for each. <br />parceL The gross. surface area of a ground sign shall no~ exceed one <br />hundred (100) square feet for each exposed face nor exceed an aggregate <br />gross surface area of two hundred (200) squ~e feet. <br /> <br />c. .
