Short-term alternative: <br />Options are limited, and therefore, continuing the relationship with the City of Anoka is reasonable. <br />Long-term alternatives: <br />Continue researching a local Ramsey Animal Containment Center, with a potential operational date of January <br />1st, 2027. <br />Extend the proposed Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Anoka for services out past 2026. <br />Funding Source: <br />Business Unit 0270 Animal Control, under 6489 Other Contracted Services. This is funded through the general <br />levy and animal ownership fees owed for the service.
