Ferry Street (Trunk Highway 47) Grade Separation of BNSF Rail Crossing <br />• City -led project <br />• $45M in bonds authorized October 2020 <br />• 2028 construction anticipated <br />Highway 47 Corridor Improvements — Garfield St to Bunker Lk Blvd <br />• Combining with above City -led project <br />• 3-lane design <br />• Received regional solicitation funds for 2027 construction <br />• Permanent signal system at McKinley Street <br />• Construction proposed for 2027 - 2029 <br />Anoka County Improvement Projects <br />• No updates. <br />MnDOT Improvement Projects <br />Highway 10 Mill & Overlay and RCI Improvements <br />• 30-percent plans complete — Staff reviewed and submitted comments to MnDOT <br />• Mill & Overlay US 10/169 pavement from approx. '/z-mile west of Cleveland/Jarvis Avenue in Elk River to <br />'/z-mile west of Ramsey Boulevard in Ramsey, including Dayton Rest Area <br />• Constructing Reduced Conflict Intersection (RCI) improvements at the intersections of Edison Street and <br />Jarvis Street in Elk River, and Alpine Drive and Beatty Drive in Ramsey <br />o Removing median crossovers and installing J-Turns w/out signal systems <br />• Extending pedestrian trail south of US 10/169 from 500-feet East of Adams Street to Edison Street <br />• Constructing pedestrian crossover/refuge in median of US 10/169 at Jarvis Street <br />• Removing, repairing and replacing drainage culverts <br />• Constructing, repairing and replacing misc. guardrail/end treatments <br />• 2027 construction proposed <br />Studies & Items of Interest <br />Wetland 114P Outlet Control Structure <br />• Staff continue to monitor water levels.
