Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:
<br />RESOLUTION 06-12-xx
<br />RESOLUTION RATIFYING CHANGE ORDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW
<br />RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council established by resolution levels of authority on May 24~`,
<br />2005, for the approval of project change orders to allow for construction to proceed while
<br />managing minor project changes; and
<br />WHEREAS, the established levels of Authority for the Construction of the new Ramsey
<br />Municipal Center are as follows: City Council approval required for change orders greater than
<br />$25,000, City Council ratification of all change orders less than $25,000, Facility Committee
<br />approval required for change orders greater than $10,000 but less than $25,000, ratification by
<br />City Council, Project Team of James E. Norman, City Administrator and Heidi A. Nelson, Asst.
<br />City Administrator approval required for change orders not greater than $10,000, ratification by
<br />City Council; and
<br />WHEREAS, the following change orders have been reviewed by BKV Group and 3D/I
<br />Construction Managers and have been approved by either the Facility Committee or the Project
<br />Team.
<br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:
<br />1) Change Order No. 1061-16 ($16,016.75)
<br />Relocate projector. screen in training room, install laminate panels behind
<br />microwaves, fire extinguisher lettering, cut down reception wood panel doors,
<br />additional keys, change key functions, plywood in various areas, window blinds,
<br />television bracket changes
<br />Change Order No. 1094-03 ($3,700.00)
<br />Temp. carpet for elevator, slate the (F 160, F 178, F 158)
<br />Change Order No. 1081-OS ($6,090.64)
<br />Replace glass (W 12, W22), soffit detail, column closure (F 118, F 124)
<br />Change Order No. 1096-02 ($4,469.66)
<br />Remove silicone caulk clean and re-prime, drywall touchup, black paint
<br />concourse paneling locations, paint for office windows
<br />Change Order No. 1071-07 ($487.04)
<br />Roof damages
<br />Change Order No. 1022-01 ($1,774.50)
<br />Replace curb stakes, revise curbs to east parking due to generator location
<br />Change Order No. 1151-14 ($551.76)
<br />Add grille and transfer duct, revisions to detention smoke detectors
<br />Change Order No. 1161-10 ($24,000.00)
<br />Add 5 push buttons in City Hall, change ceiling mount alert lights to 6 color bar
<br />TOTAL CHANGE ORDERS 11!23/06-12/21i0b: $57,090.35
<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
<br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
