Case #6: Request for Preliminary Plat and preliminary Site Plan Review of Ebony <br />Woods; Case of DPM Investments, Inc. <br />Acted on under Case No. 4. <br />Case #7: Authorization to Enter into a Loan Agreement with Anoka County <br />Community Action Program (ACCAP) for the Ramsey Town Center <br />Apartment Project; Case of City of Ramsey <br />Pulled from the agenda. <br />Case #8: Proposed Street Name Change in Ramsey Town Center lOt" Addition; Case <br />of City of Ramsey <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon explained after processing the plat of Ramsey <br />Town Center 100i Addition, it came to staff s attention that a street name contained on the plat of <br />Ramsey Town Center 100i Addition is incorrectly identified. 1490' Lane as shown on the plat <br />should be labeled as 1490' Avenue NW. <br />Motion by Councihnember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Ordinance No. <br />06- 30 to change the street name of 1490i Lane NW between Bison Street NW and Zeolite Street <br />NW to 1490' Avenue NW. <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br />Mayor Gamec: aye <br />Councilmember Cook: aye <br />Councilmember Elvig: aye <br />Councilmember Jeffrey: aye <br />Councilmember Olson: aye <br />Councilmember Pearson: aye <br />Councilmember Strommen: aye <br />Motion carried. <br />Case #9: Award Bids for the Removal of Contaminated Soils on the St. Paul <br />Terminals Property <br />Public Works Director Olson explained this project consists of the excavation, hauling, and <br />disposal of approximately 4,400 cubic yards of contaminated soil for this 1.5 acre industrial <br />property, which is located at 14050 Basalt Street. This site was acquired by the City from St. <br />Paul Terminals for redevelopment purposes and was occupied for many years by Danny's <br />Tranny's. This project will allow for the redevelopment of this commerciaUindustrial property. <br />Mr. Olson indicated the project has been estimated to cost $215,000 and will be funded from Tax <br />Increment Financing District No. 2 and through a grant from the Minnesota Pollution Control <br />City Council / November.l4, 2006 <br />Page 13 of 31 <br />-15- <br />
