<br /> <br />Mayor Gamec inquired about the due date on the bill. <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund replied she does not believe she has received the bill. <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen stated the Council approved $10~OOO and thi~ is 'half that amoun~;it is <br />significant. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig~ seconded by Councilmember Cook, to table the resolution <br />authorizing $5,500 from Council Contingency for Architectural Rend~rings for Ramsey town <br />Center, and to move the case to the Finance Committee for discussion mid f,Utureaction. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook~ Jeffrey, qlson~ <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #14: Report from Public Works <br /> <br />1) Review Stormwater Pollution Control Ordinance <br /> <br /> <br />Acted on under Case No. 11. <br /> <br />2) Consider Policy for Traffic Control Modification Requests <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson indicated the Public Works Committee reviewed the draft policy <br />for traffic control modification requests. The current policy for bringing an issue before the <br />Public Works Committee for review requires only a written request or ap. email from a $ingle <br />individual. The idea and discussion at the Public Works Committee was that traffic control <br />modification requests can be taken at any time from Council and staff if j they ,see! a ~afety <br />concern. The idea was not to limit tpe ability to respond~ but that there :would ,be! more <br />ownership in the actual traffic control modification if ther€( are a numbyr ~f residel.lts i~ support. <br />The discussion at the Public Works Committee was that the policy $houldt r~quire ~p~t~tion <br />signed by a minimum of five property owners or residents residing,' WI,; ',thih ',' 500 fee,' t 0, f,' the <br />requested traffic modification. The motion of the Public Works Conntllttee w~s to reco~end <br />to the City Council that the attached Policy for Traffic Control ~odificatiofi Reque$ts be <br />adopted. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvigexplained there was a fair amount of discussio)l, by the 'Committeel.
